We’re a small team already working in evidence-based health. We keep hearing the same thing from people trying to get an adult ADHD assessment in the UK: the local NHS wait can run past a year, NHS Right to Choose helps but is being restricted area by area, and private options are hard to compare and rarely cost what the headline price says.

We’re exploring whether we should build a better private option — one consultant psychiatrist, clear all-in pricing (not just the initial assessment), and a real plan for the GP shared-care handoff instead of leaving you to negotiate that yourself.

Why we’re asking first

Every product we’ve built at Proco starts from evidence, not assumption — and that applies to whether we build this at all. Before we put time into a clinic, we want a real signal that people would actually use it, not just a hunch that they might.

What happens next

If enough people tell us this matters, we’ll start the real work: finding the right psychiatrist partner, working out fair and transparent pricing that covers the whole process (not just the first appointment), and figuring out the GP shared-care handoff that’s so often left unresolved. You’ll be the first to know either way.
