Is a clearer path to an ADHD assessment in Ireland something you'd want?

We're a small team already working in evidence-based health. We keep hearing the same thing from people trying to get an adult ADHD assessment in Ireland: the HSE public wait can run into years with no single reliable timeline to plan around, private options exist but are hard to compare on price, and once you're diagnosed, whether your GP will actually take over prescribing is left to chance.

We're exploring whether we should build a better private option — one consultant psychiatrist registered with the Medical Council, clear all-in pricing (not just the initial assessment), and a real plan for the shared-care handoff instead of leaving you to negotiate that yourself.

Why we're asking first

Every product we've built at Proco starts from evidence, not assumption — and that applies to whether we build this at all. Before we put time into a clinic, we want a real signal that people would actually use it, not just a hunch that they might.

What happens next

If enough people tell us this matters, we'll start the real work: finding the right Medical Council-registered psychiatrist, working out fair and transparent pricing that covers the whole process (not just the first appointment), and figuring out the shared-care handoff that's so often left unresolved. You'll be the first to know either way.
