Our clinicians

Led by a licensed clinical lead

Every clinical decision at Proco will be made by a licensed clinician who is accountable for it. We are about to begin the search for our clinical lead, and we will not see patients until that person is in place.

Status: searching. No clinician is named on this page yet because we have not appointed one. When we do, this page will show their name, their registration and what they are responsible for.

What we are looking for

  • A consultant psychiatrist, ideally. Someone able to diagnose, prescribe and set clinical governance. In some countries, including Ireland, only a consultant psychiatrist or similar specialist can diagnose and start prescribing for these conditions.
  • Registered where our patients live. A doctor treating patients in the UK needs GMC registration with a licence to practise, even when working from overseas. Other countries have their own registers and we will follow them.
  • Experience with adult ADHD and autism assessment, and with running a service safely: record keeping, consent, escalation and review.

What we will publish

Before any patient is seen, this page will show the clinical lead's name, regulator and registration number, their role at Proco, and any other clinicians working with them. If a clinician leaves, the page will change.
