We plan to offer private assessment for adults who think they may have ADHD or autism, led by a licensed clinician and carried out online.
Join the waitlistHow it will workIn many countries, public waiting lists for an adult ADHD or autism assessment run to months or years. Private assessment exists, but it is often expensive, and many private services stop after the diagnosis. We think people deserve a clear, careful assessment and a sensible next step afterwards.
Exact steps depend on the clinician, the condition and the country. In general, a good assessment includes:
A clinician takes your history, including how things are now and how they were in childhood, and asks about work, relationships and daily life.
Standard questionnaires and, where appropriate, structured interviews that help the clinician reach a decision.
Where possible, views from someone who knew you as a child, or records such as old school reports.
A clear explanation of the clinician's conclusion and, where a diagnosis is made, what it means and what could happen next.
Who is allowed to diagnose ADHD or autism, and who can prescribe medicine afterwards, differs between countries. We will only open in a country once we have a clinician who is registered to practise there and we know which rules apply. Until then we are asking, not selling.
