These Terms of Service govern your use of Proco Scanner (the app) and procohq.com (the website). By creating an account or using either, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Proco Scanner or procohq.com.
Who we are. "Proco", "we", "us", and "our" mean Proco Technologies Limited, an Irish company (No. 670796) registered in Ireland.
Proco Scanner is an information tool, not a medical service. It analyses supplement labels against published research and tells you what the evidence says. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, or replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Always consult a doctor or pharmacist before starting, stopping, or changing any supplement, medication, or treatment.
Proco Scanner is a mobile app that lets you scan supplement labels or barcodes and receive an evidence-based analysis of each ingredient — what the research says about effectiveness, optimal dose ranges, and known risks — weighted to a personal health goal you choose.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By creating one, you confirm that you meet that age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Tell us immediately at support@procohq.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
One account per person. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account.
Proco Scanner offers a free tier and paid subscriptions ("Proco Pro") with deeper analysis features. Subscription pricing is shown in the app at the time of purchase and may vary by region.
All in-app subscriptions are processed by the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at the time of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
You manage your subscription (including cancellation, renewal, and payment method) in your Apple ID settings. Proco does not have access to your payment details — Apple processes everything.
Free trials, where offered, convert to paid subscriptions at the end of the trial unless cancelled before the trial ends.
You can cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access until then.
Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's standard refund policy. You request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com. Proco does not issue direct refunds for App Store purchases.
EU 14-day right of withdrawal: if you are in the EU and have just purchased a subscription, you have the right to cancel within 14 days for a full refund — unless you have already started using the paid features, in which case the right of withdrawal does not apply (Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m), digital content delivered with consent).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

You get a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use Proco Scanner for your own non-commercial purposes while your account is active.

Specifically:
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescription medication, managing a chronic condition, or considering supplementation for a child, talk to your doctor or pharmacist before relying on any information from Proco Scanner.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services — do not use Proco Scanner.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proco's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Proco Scanner or procohq.com is limited to the greater of: (a) the amount you have paid Proco in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) €100.
Proco is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g. death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation).
You agree to defend and indemnify Proco against any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from: (a) your misuse of Proco Scanner in breach of these terms, (b) your violation of any law or third-party right, or (c) your reliance on Proco's analysis output to make medical or treatment decisions without consulting a qualified healthcare professional.
You can stop using Proco at any time. Delete your account in-app (Settings → Delete Account) — your data is erased within 30 days as described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, if continued service would expose Proco to legal risk, or if Proco Scanner is permanently discontinued. We will give reasonable notice where practical.
Sections 6 (Your content licence), 7 (Our IP), 8 (Medical disclaimer), 9 (Liability), 10 (Indemnity), 12 (Changes), and 13 (Governing law) survive termination.
If we materially change these terms, we will email you and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Proco Scanner after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, you may delete your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ireland, except that EU consumers retain the right to bring claims in the courts of their country of residence under EU consumer protection law.
Before bringing a formal claim, please email legal@procohq.com so we can try to resolve it directly.
