Frequently asked questions

What counts as a transaction?
Any on-chain payment initiated through a Proco agent wallet counts as one transaction — whether it's a USDC transfer, an x402 API payment, or an agent-to-agent settlement. Policy evaluations, balance checks, and wallet provisioning do not count against your limit.
Is Proco custodial?
No. Proco is non-custodial by design. Each agent wallet is controlled by keys you hold — Proco never has signing authority over your funds. If Proco went offline tomorrow, your funds would remain intact and accessible on-chain. We provide the infrastructure; you own the keys.
Which stablecoins and chains does Proco support?
USDC on Base is the primary settlement path — near-instant finality, sub-cent transaction costs. Ethereum mainnet and Polygon are also supported. EURC (Circle's euro stablecoin) is available on Scale and Enterprise plans. We add new chains based on enterprise demand.
Is the Builder plan really free?
Yes. The Builder plan is free with no time limit — it's not a trial. You get 10 wallets and 1,000 transactions per month with a 0.20% fee on each transaction. It's designed for builders exploring agent finance before committing to production scale.
What is KYA and why does it matter?
KYA — Know Your Agent — is Proco's compliance framework for non-human transacting parties. Every agent wallet is linked to a verified ownership chain (a human or legal entity), with cryptographic identity and transaction attribution built in. This makes agent finance governable and audit-ready without requiring agent legal personhood.

Does Proco earn yield on my agent wallet balances?
Agent wallet balances are held in USDC on Base. Proco participates in Circle's yield-sharing programme — a portion of yield on reserves is shared back with Enterprise customers as a treasury benefit. For Builder and Scale plans, balances are non-yielding by default. Enterprise customers can discuss treasury yield arrangements directly.
Why no monthly fee?
Because we're building infrastructure, not software. Visa doesn't charge you a monthly fee to accept card payments — they take a small percentage of each transaction. That's our model. We grow when you grow, and you pay nothing when your agents are idle.
